Greece…It holds a special place in our hearts. It may have been 15 years ago, but as we stepped on the ferry in Piraeus it felt like yesterday. Salty air, heat and excitement. A Ouzo here and there. Cristal clear turquoise water…or is it blue? Nobody can really tell, but it sure is so inviting. Day and night. We swam. It’s just the only thing to do to cool you down.  35 Celsius. Burning sun. Then there is the wind. Serifos is known for wild winds. The fisherman stay on shore on those days. But the kids…they just love jumping in the waves. I worry. Like I always do. I take a deep breath and let it go. Because it’s life and we will all be fine.

Islands have this calming effect on us. Now we need to bottle it and take it home. To cold nights in Sweden. When we will look at these photos and cuddle up on the couch with a tea and the colors of Serifos will keep us warm till we return…to where it all began.
